| C.J. James is a talented defensive end prospect who finished his junior season (8-3) with 65 tackles and three sacks. He says he can bench press 320-pounds and squats 475.
2008: James had a great debut game with 15 tackles, two sacks, one interception and one fumble recovery in a 19-7 victory over Cypress Creek High School.
James says he wants to major in business and reports a 2.9 core GPA and a 17 ACT, which he plans to retake. "My mom is a teacher and she has set a standard for me to achieve. I'm already qualified but I'll still retake my test to do better."
James: "I have great hands and good speed. People can't block me and I've got good technique. I'm like a dog out there. I do whatever it takes to get the job done.
"I need to work on keeping my pad level lower. I also want to improve my lateral movement and be able to change directions faster."
