| A fireplug of a defensive tackle prospect, Travis shows an incredible amount of effort on the field. It's a common site to see him 20 yards downfield in pursuit of a ball carrier. He has a great first step and is outstanding sideline to sideline. With his lack of height, he'll need to learn to play with a little better leverage and occupy a double team without moving backwards, but that's a minor critique. Great Motor. 2008: Travis' season was shortened due to injury but he recorded 70 tackles, seven sacks, forced five fumbles recovering two and blocked two kicks during his senior season. He was given 4A Honorable Mention by the ASWA and he was named to Mobile Press Register's Super Southeast 120.
2007: Travis was named first team All-State DL by the ASWA for his junior season. He made 60 tackles and four sacks.
