| Nick Bruce had 80 tackles, nine for loss, six sacks, four pass breakups and two fumble recoveries from his linebacker spot in 2007 as a junior at Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft. He also had 523 yards rushing for five touchdowns and caught a touchdown pass on offense; A First Team All-West Valley League pick aand a Second Team All-City Section pick in 2007. Bruce says he can bench 325-pounds, squat 490 and has a 28-inch vertical jump.
Bruce says he wants to be a private investigator and hopes to major in criminal justice. He reports a 2.8 core GPA but hasn't taken the SAT or ACT yet.
Bruce: "I'm a hard hitter and a run stopper. I can read the run good and know what they are going to do. I can get to the spot and make a stop, but I'd still like to get faster and stronger. I think that's what you need at the next level."
