| Bird is one of the best all-around athletes in the country. He makes big plays om both sides of the ball in high school, but will be a linebacker in college. He possesses sideline-to-sideline speed and just has a knack for making big plays. He should keep his speed and add some size and develop in to a real monster in college. - SoonersIllustrated. |

| Extremely talented middle linebacker prospect who missed several games as a junior due to a cracked fibula. He played in four and had 60 tackles. He ran for 1,500 yards and 23 touchdowns as a sophomore at fullback.
2008: Bird was a mister-do-it-all for Conway Springs as a senior. He earned All-State honors after racking up 115 tackles. He also rushed for 2,435 yards and scored 27 touchdowns during his senior season. For his career, Bird amassed an impressive 225 tackles and rushed for 4,701 yards and 56 touchdowns despite missing most of his junior season with an injury. |
