| Has the ideal height for the position, but must continue to add weight to his frame. Mechanics are solid. Always sets his feet and transfers weight properly. Shows good, but not elite arm strength. Has good field vision and is an accurate passer. Mobility is not a strong suit, but is not a statue; negotiates the pocket well as he is able to feel pressure while keeping his eyes downfield. Must improve decision making and cut down on interceptions. |

| Played in a number of contests as a sophomore and became the starter as a junior. In that season, he made Detroit Free Press All-East Second Team after passing for 2038 yards and 14 touchdowns. He completed 192 passes on 315 attempts and also scored three touchdowns on the ground. |
