2008: 60 catches for 1,163 yards and 11 touchdowns his senior season. Vernon was selected All Dade County First Team 1B-3A, FSWA 2A First Team All-State.
Vernon reeled in 38 receptions for 638 yards and 5 TDs as a junior. For his efforts, he was named 2nd team All Dade County.
