Biography:

Southward rushed for 1,072 yards and ten touchdowns during his senior season. He was All-Area First Team Athlete, ASWA Honorable Mention 6A RB and made a very favorable impression as a member of the Alabama Mississippi All-Star Classic Game. He was also named All-Area RB by The Times Daily.
