| Already one of the top 2010 players in the state of Florida, Elam is fun to watch. He is extremely versatile and appears to relish taking on more and more responsibility. Very effective at RB, he has the patience to let the play develop and the extra gear necessary to exploit creases and cutback lanes. Defensively, Elam plays downhill and seeks contact. 2008: Elam was selected Player of the Year (County) racking up 91 tackles, 21 tackles for a loss and nine sacks. He rushed for 435 yards and four touchdowns on 39 carries and caught passes totaling 758 yards and nine touchdowns. He was honored with First Team Selection 4A FSWA Utility.
Over his 9th and 10th grade seasons Elam totaled eight interceptions and over 100 tackles. |
