Called up to varsity at San Jose (Calif.) Valley Christian as a freshman in 2007, playing cornerback. Also started as a freshman at point guard for Valley Christian and ran the anchor on the 4x100 relay team. Named Valley Christian's Most Outstanding Freshman Athlete.
