| As a junior, Darin Drakeford tallied 94 tackles, 22 sacks, eight forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and one interception. On offense, Drakeford had 31 catches for more than 500 yards and seven touchdowns. He also had two rushing touchdowns. Drakeford says he can bench press 265-pounds and reports a 38-inch vertical jump.
Drakeford earned All-DCIAA honors as a junior and as a sophomore. He also earned All-Met honors as a junior.
Partial senior (3-4) stats: 42 tackles and seven sacks.
Drakeford reports a 2.8 core GPA and a 900 SAT, which he plans on retaking.
Drakeford: "I'm good from sideline-to-sideline. I also read the field well and can play quick. I'm very aggressive and I always want to be in on the big play and get the job done.
"I'd love to improve on reading the offensive line and locating the play action better. I also want to get faster and improve my movement in small spaces."
