BCHSF Triple AAA Provincial Player Of The Year MVP and was also MVP of the BC High school Football Championship Game.
While in grade 8 Lemar became the first middle school player ever, to play for the Centennial High-School team. In 2006, grade 9, he Played JV. Lemar stepped up, for the team, and played QB, as the original one had been injured, and received team MVP, as well as was a Top 4 QB in the Province. The next year 2007, he decided to try playing as a WR, and was team MVP as a WR, as well as JR Provincial Top Offensive Player of the year. Not only was he MVP for the JV team that year, he was also the SR Team's Top Offensive player, which was the first ever that a JR was awarded playing as a SR, at Centennial.
Lemar also won the Top Defensive All-star award at "The Big Kahuna" 7 on 7 passing challenge this past summer, with teams such as Skyline, Ferris, Eastlake, to mention a few.
Most recently he was selected for 2008 Gatorade Provincial All-Star Team (WR). the 2008 Pepsi Provincial All-Star Team (WR). As well as awarded The 2008 Top Offensive Player for his team, the Centennial Centaurs.
Lemar completed regular season as the Top WR in the Province of BC - finishing the overall season with with 701 yards, 29 receptions, 13 TDS on offense. On defense, Lemar had 6 interceptions 3 for TD's, as well as 1 on a Punt Return plus 31 Tackles, for a total of 167 yards on defense, the longest being 57. Durant also excited fans with some pretty impressive kick returns totaling 203 yards, with the longest being 52.
Lemar has also been Centennial's Basketball MVP the past 2 years both Grade 9 and grade 10, and just brought his SR team this year, to the BC's by leading them to the District Championship, receiving the District MVP award.
