| 2008 Season: 72 tackles and 13 sacks. Named All-State in Class 5A. He says he can bench 405-pounds, squat 560 and has a 34-inch vertical jump.
Bennett reports a 2.5 core GPA and a 17 ACT, which he retook on Oct. 24.
Partial senior (12-0) stats: 66 tackles and 11 sacks
Bennett: “I can stop the run. I’m very physical and aggressive. I have great conditioning and I play very low. I can read well too.
“I want to improve my pass rush. I’d like to have better technique and work on my timing on snap counts. I’m also trying to get my first five steps quicker.”
