| The All-Jay Hawk conference offensive lineman first attended Fort Scott Community College in Kansas and redshirted. He then went to Northwest Mississippi Community College for a year before joining the staff at Hutchinson. Bass has a great combination of strength and speed. He benches 385 pounds and has squats an impressive 615 pounds. His coaches at Hutchinson say his 40-yard dash time of 4.69 seconds is not a misprint.
