| Robby Havenstein was named first-team All-Conference, All-Area, All-Met and All State as a junior. He bench presses 320 pounds, squats 500 pounds and hang cleans 320 pounds. Claims a 26" vertical jump.
Havenstein reports a 3.6 core GPA and a 1480 three-part SAT. He's been on the honor roll since the 9th grade.
Havenstein: “I’m a big guy and I’m a great run blocker. I have a pretty quick first step and I have decent leg strength too. I usual try to stay low, but it’s tough for a guy my size.
“I still want to get stronger, especially my upper body. I also want to keep working on my foot speed and getting back quicker in pass protection.”
Head Coach Rick Conner says:
“Robby is the most complete linemen I’ve coached in my 23 year career. He has it all, size, power, agility, leadership and intelligence. For a young man in only his third season of football, Rob made all of the blocks. Now as a junior he has become one of the top linemen in Maryland and on the east coast. He’s great on pass protection, a wall when down blocking, gets to the next level at linebacker, and pulls with authority. You name it, Rob can do it. Simply put, Robby is a coach’s dream. We ran for 4000 yards 56 rushing TD’s and most of it behind #70.”
