| Smith has good pocket presence, feels the rush and has the feet to move around in the pocket or the mobility to take off into the open field. He throws a nice, tight spiral and is accurate, getting good ball placement and leading his receivers in their routes. He reads the field well and looks off safeties, not starting down his intended target. He lacks the velocity on his passes that he’ll need at the next level right now. - Matt Alkire |

As a junior, he completed 181 of 272 passes for 3193 yards, 42 touchdowns and five interceptions.
As a sophomore, Smith completed 152 of 242 passes for 2600 yards, 27 touchdowns and six interceptions.
Smith takes both AP and honors classes and has a weighted core GPA of 4.5 on a 4.0 scale. |
