| Demetrius Wright earned First Team All-Big VIII Honors as a cornerback and named team's Most Outstanding Defensive Back as a junior at Corona (Calif.) in 2008. Had had 52 tackles, three interceptions and three fumble recoveries with three defensive touchdowns and had 62 carries for 450 yards and nine touchdowns, along with 16 receptions for 123 yards. He benches 300 pounds, squats 385 and has a 37-inch vertical jump.

Wright: “People don’t throw to my side because I’ll knock it down. I like hitting people and taking them down. I’m like Deion Sanders except I hit harder.
“I want to improve my hip flexibility. And work on breaking down to the ball.”
