| Riggs is a true shut-down corner. He has very good feet, hips, and speed. He always plays quick, he is always aware, and he does a very good job of recognizing the situation. Getting stronger is something he can work on, but he does most everything at a high level when it comes to covering recievers. He can play man or zone. - South Recruiting Analyst Chad Simmons |
| Biography: |
| Riggs finished his junior season with 25 tackles and eight interceptions. He was named All-Broward County First Team DB and FSWA 5A First Team All-State. He says he can bench 215-pounds and has a 36-inch vertical jump.
Partial senior (12-0) stats: 30 tackles, four interceptions, four blocked field goals and one blocked punt
Riggs said he’s considering majoring in either civil engineering or sports broadcasting. He reports a 3.8 core GPA and a 1210 SAT.
Riggs: “I’m good at man coverage. I have great speed and footwork. I'm good at getting up for the jump ball and am very aggressive.
“I have good finesse too. I’m just a well-rounded corner.
“I want to improve my hip flexibility and reacting better on short routes.”
