| From a physical standpoint, he has a skill set that only a few players every year. He runs really well for his size, he’s explosive, a great athlete, strong, everything. As a defensive end, he wins because he’s so explosive off the ball and is able to beat opposing tackles right off the bat with his quickness upfield. It’s unclear how well he’ll be able to get used to college size having not produced against the toughest competition in Florida. |

| Delvin Jones finished his junior season with 70 tackles, 20 sacks, nine interceptions and two fumbles caused. On offense he also had around 90-yards and one touchdown. Runs track and has recorded a 10.7 100m
Jones says he’d like to major in broadcasting and reports a 2.8 core GPA and is taking the SAT in May.
Jones: “On defense I have great speed and quickness. I move well and I can create mismatches on offense too because of my size. I’m very aggressive, but I’m still working on shedding tackles and getting off double teams.
“I also want to improve my route running on offense. I prefer playing offense as a tight end or receiver. I love the mismatches I create because of my size and I’m really fast.
“I like offense but I’ll play defense. Whatever the team needs and gets me on the field the fastest.”
