| A good athlete at the quarterback position for one of the best teams in the country, Gibson is a very good athlete with a strong arm. He'll need to work on his mechanics in order to be an effective quarterback on the college level and be more consistent in his accuracy. 2009 Stats: Gibson completed 106 of 198 pass attempts for 1,302 yards, 80-yard long, seven touchdowns, eight interceptions. The senior rushed for 631 yards on 138 carries (4.57 avg) and nine touchdowns. He also caught four passes for 119 yards with a 58-yard long and a touchdown.
2009 Awards: Birmingham News Super Seniors Pre-Season.
2008: Gibson completed 84 of 149 passing attempts for 1,083 yards, 11 touchdowns (7 int). He rushed for 480 yards on 107 carries scoring eight touchdowns. |
