| As a junior, Kurtis Drummond had 16 receptions for 270 yards and four touchdowns. On defense, he had 49 tackles, two sacks and three interceptions as a cornerback. Will move to safety as a senior. He says he doesn’t have a preference for which position he plays in college. “That’s actually something I’ve been thinking a lot about,” he said. “I’m not sure which side of the ball I want to play on.”
Drummond also plays guard for his high school’s basketball team (averages 21 points per game), but says he’s sticking with football in college.
Drummond reports a 3.0 core GPA and a 21 ACT.
Drummond: “I’m very athletic. I’m very versatile and can play both offense and defense. I’m a playmaker.
“But I want to improve my speed and strength. I’d like to make plays quicker and control people more.”
