Biography:

2004: Carslon is a natural, rangy athlete with outstanding hands. He's a fluid runner and with very good speed for his size. Good blocker, but will need to improve. His playing time will be dicatated by how many TEs return for a 5th year and the health of A Fasano. Regardless, John should see the field this year.

2003:Did not play as a freshman TE. Practiced with the ND basketball team.

High School: Insiders #16 ranked TE. Played in the U.S. Army All-America game. As a senior caught 41 passes, for 471 yards and 7 TDs. . . made Reorded 79 tackles and two sacks as defensive end. For his career, he had 95 catches for 1,331 yards and 23 TDs. John also played basketball and tennis.
