As a junior, he recorded 95 tackles, 25 tackles for a loss, and 10 sacks. A defensive end prospect that goes fullspeed on every play. Plays sideline to sideline and is a terrific pass rusher. Mangold only played six games as a junior as he was slowed down by a foot injury. He finished with 82 tackles, 5 tackles for a loss and 6 sacks.
