Biography:
A member of Coach Tormey's last recruiting class, Brian joined the Vandals in 1999 and redshirted his first season in Moscow. He recorded stunning numbers in high school, and was named USA Today's Player of the Year with a national record 162 career TDs, and a list of Washington HS passing records that includes 12,566 career passing yards.

At Idaho in 2001 (as a backup that saw action when starter John Welsh went down with an injury) he set an NCAA record of 637 passing yards by a sophomore in a single game (MTSU). In 2002 he threw for 2,763 yards in 10 games, with 19 TDs and 10 picks. He threw 6 TDs against San Diego State, a UI single game record effort (tied).

Going into 2003 Brian has been voted the pre-season 1st Team All-SBC Quarterback, 7 months after earning 1st Team All-SBC Quarterback honors for the 2002 season as a junior. He's battling touted recruit, sophomore Michael Harrington, for the starting job and had a solid spring showing.

On career list is tied for second in completion percentage (61.5) and is eighth in passing yardage (4,374).
