| The top tight end prospect in PA in 2003 and the #2 TE prospect in America as rated by theInsiders.com, Rory Nicol chose the Buckeyes over 40 other scholarship offers. He compares his game to Ben Hartsock. He's a strong blocker and a good pass catcher. He had 19 catches for 234 yards and five touchdowns as a senior.
Three-year varsity starter. Excellent size and athletic ability. One of Pennsylvania's top prospects in 2003. Also plays basketball and runs hurdles in track. Last season as a junior, Nicol caught 14 passes for 178 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, he recorded 78 tackles and 6.5 sacks.
