All-State Underclass selection and one of the elite defensive players on the West Coast. Totaled 138 tackles, 10 for loss and had 13 quarterback sacks as a junior. Could be a national recruit. As a senior recorded 140 tackles, 17 sacks, 20 tackles for loss, 15 tipped passes, 14 hurries, four caused fumbles, two fumble recoveries and returned one for a 40-yard touchdown return
