USAAAB: James Wilder
James Wilder profile "I broke my ribs in the state championship," said James. "I came here and got my X-rays. I am good now, so I came out here to practice with my boys on the East side." With Wilder now cleared to play, he is eager to bring a victory to the East. He plans to be in uniform on Saturday. "I talked to all of the coaches and everything, so this was something everybody knew about," said James. "I went to the doctor and he told me no contact all week. "He said that it's up to me to see how I feel on game day. Coach let me get some non-contact reps today, so it's been working pretty good." James is rooming with good pal Phillip Ely. "That's working out good," said Wilder. "We've roomed together at just about every event, so it's what we're used to now." While many prospects are being courted to join their All-Star teammates at other schools, James is rejecting all sales pitches and doing some recruiting work of his own. "I am down here recruiting like crazy," said Wilder. "I am trying to get (Aundrey) Walker over there and Nick O'Leary. I want Tony Steward to come with us too. There's a lot of people I want to come with us." The feeling of community that James has experiencing is something he plans to build on when he takes his official visit to Tallahassee. "I am locked in with Florida State and I am loving it. I am just trying to keep this thing going. "We have one of the top recruiting classes now and I am doing my part to help us get to #1. "I think I am going to be able to talk some guys into taking a visit to Florida State. "Tony Steward is not here yet, but I have been texting him and telling him he needs to come with us and have the top recruiting class at Florida State."
