Many schools are now utilizing a hybrid defensive end/outside linebacker position in their defensive schemes. Illinois has its Bandit, and it goes by other names at other schools. Athletes like Dwayne Hoilett are being trained in high school to play both in space and with their hand on the ground. He appears ideal for the position in college.

Dwayne Hoilett plays defensive end and linebacker for Vero Beach High School in Florida. Illinois and his recruiting coach Jeff Brohm see him as a Bandit prospect.
