"I Will Play Hard"
Torrey Bell knew he wanted to play in the SEC. It was just a matter of where and also which coaching staff he felt most comfortable with.
"I always liked SEC schools and it's so great to know I'll be playing in the SEC. The best part is, I'll be playing at Mississippi State."
Bell felt a connection with Mississippi State coaches early on but wanted to make sure he was completely positive he wanted to make the call to MSU.
"I went to camp at LSU and Auburn and I liked it there. But, it wasn't the same as Mississippi State. There's just something about the coaches at Mississippi State. They are the best."
Speaking of State coaches, Bell says three come to mind when he thinks about who he has developed a strong relationship with.
"I talk to coach Knox and coach Wilson and also coach Mullen. They are excited to use me and say they like my athleticism and my quickness."
Bell says he will hit the recruiting trail hard for Mississippi State.
"I wish I could get everyone to come there with me. Only good players who want to work hard, though."
Hard work is very important to Bell. He says he hopes Mississippi State fans will see his work ethic.
"I want them to know I plan on working really hard. I will play hard. Oh, and I like winning."
