Isaac Rochell: GT Offer in Hand
Profile - Isaac Rochell The visit gave Rochell a chance to watch Tech play for the first timethis season. Isaac enjoyed the game and the atmosphere created by the fans. "They had the place going and you could see that Georgia Tech is a really good football team and I enjoyed watching them play." Rochell arrived late to the game but he did have a chance to talk to Coach Paul Johnson for a few minutes. "He basically talked to me about what to expect academically and that was refreshing as I do stress my academics a lot. After that I had a chance to go out on the field and watch the team warm up and talk with other recruits at the game." Isaac also picked up an offer on the visit. "It was a big deal for me. Rochell received the offer from Coach Johnson when they first met. "Being close to home (30 minutes) makes this a big deal for me." Being close to home isn't a big factor for Rochell but it will play a role in his decision. "To me the biggest factors are how well I get along with the coaching staff and how they go about in preparing the players for games and life." Rochell will also be paying attention to the depth chart at each school. "I am not afraid of competition but I'd like to be able to get playing time as soon as I can and if the depth chart is loaded with young players already starting, it would be difficult." Rochell had a chance to talk with Tech defensive end Anthony Williams. Anthony's younger brother goes to school with Rochell at ELCA. "He had great things to say about Tech and I came away with a good feeling after talking with him." The visits will continue for Isaac as the season progresses. "l am either going to the Clemson and Virginia Tech game or the Florida and Alabama game this weekend." The visit will depend on which game his dad and his high school coach decide to attend.
