Only a few sophomore have picked up an offer from Clemson. One of those 2014 prospects, a defensive end from the Atlanta area, was in for Junior Day.

Eagles Landing Christian Academy [McDonough, Ga.] sophomore offensive lineman Andrew Williams made his way up to Clemson for Saturday's event. He and teammate Isaac Rochell made the trek up to Tigertown.

On Sunday, CUTigers caught up with Williams.

"It was great. The campus was great. It was more like a family bond over there," he said.

What stood out?

"We saw the weight room. The weight room program, the coordinators over there, it felt like it was more than what we do in high school," Williams said. "We got to experience the rock and the hill. That was a great experience, too."

Defensive ends coach Marion Hobby, who serves as Williams' primary recruiter, spent a good bit of time with the 6-foot-4, 230-pound sophomore.

"He was talking about the people that were there were most of the people that he wanted," Williams said.

Hobby invited Williams back to Clemson for the Dabo Swinney Football Camp.

"I'm looking forward to that, showing off what I can do," Williams said.

Florida State, along with a few others, could host him for junior days in the coming weeks.

Clemson, Boston College and Missouri have offered.

Who leads?

"It's a little too early. I think after the camps and stuff coming up, it'll get narrowed down a little bit," Williams said.

He plans to hit camps at Miami, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia and Florida State, too.
