UCLA Elite Camp Notebook
The Elite Camp Friday had a decent amount of talent, and the camp was clearly a success. UCLA coaches could be seen spending a great deal of time talking with various prospects throughout the camp and especially afterward. Perhaps the biggest development from the camp was the performance of Riley Sorenson, the offensive line prospect from Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Santa Margarita. There was, first, a question about Sorenson's weight and body, but he physically was acceptable, not looking particularly overweight. He measured at 6-4 and weighed 330. It was pretty evident early on in the camp when he clearly could move pretty well, and then in his footwork in the drills. He then showed a toughness and mean streak in the Battle of the Bruins, and it was clear that UCLA Offensive Line Coach Adrian Klemm was pleased and impressed. Sorenson needed to come to UCLA's camp to impress Klemm to garner an offer, and even though one wasn't extended Friday it's a very good bet Klemm...
