Shane Morris: The morning session went well. You know, we had the combine testing stuff. I don’t think I’ve gone to a combine since my freshman year in high school, so it’s a little bit different, but, you know, it’s awesome out here, being in Nike headquarters. It’s like the craziest thing in the world. Kyle Bogenshutz: Well, show off your card. Do you have your card out? Or did you throw it away? Shane Morris: 93.72. 98th percentile in the nation. Ran a 4.3 shuttle, a 43 – that’s the power toss. That’s third in the nation. So, you know, I felt I did pretty good. Kyle Bogenshutz: You did pretty good, and we won’t talk about the 40. Now, Alvin, how did you think you did this morning? Alvin Bailey: I did pretty good, you know. Came out here… I was kind of hesitant to run the 40, but I ended up running it. And I did pretty good on the power toss. Did pretty good on everything else, so I did pretty good. Kyle Bogenshutz: Now, you recently took a visit to Michigan. You obviously have this guy here with you, and a million more Michigan commits on the trip. They bugging you? Are they bothering you while you’re here? Alvin Bailey: Kind of, just Shane, but he wants to get me up there, man, and I can definitely see myself going to Michigan, but I’m going to talk things over with my family, and then I’m going to see where things go from there. Kyle Bogenshutz: Obviously, you just got back from Orlando. You’ve been a pretty busy guy. We talk about all the time… you have the offers; you’re already there; you know what you can do. But just coming out here and trying to compete against the best high school players in the country has got to be a great experience. Alvin Bailey: It’s definitely great coming out here, and showcasing your skills with 150 of the best players, so to be one of those guys is just a great feeling, man. Just have to thank God for blessing us with the skills we have. Kyle Bogenshutz: Talk about all the NFL players here. Former coaches, different things like that. What you guys are learning; what they’re saying to you; and just things you’re taking away from the experience so far. Alvin Bailey: I mean, you’re out here with some of the best players in the NFL. I mean, that’s an awesome opportunity, and nice facilities, and everything, I mean, it’s just a huge honor to be here. A blessing, and it’s awesome, and I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us, but you know, I’m definitely taking in everything the coaches and all the players have to say to me. You know, you don’t get coaching like this ever, so it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. You have to take everything. Kyle Bogenshutz: Do you have a little chip on your shoulder as well with the number one quarterback in the country, Max Browne, who’s committed to USC, you want to kind of prove yourself a little bit? Shane Morris: Definitely. That’s why we’re out here, you know? You have to prove you’re the best. Hackenburg, you know, being number one on ESPN, you know, and with Max Brown at number one, and everything else – I’m rooming with Hackenburg, but you know, I’m definitely out here trying to prove myself; trying to prove I’m the number on quarterback in the nation. That’s what we’re out here doing. Kyle Bogenshutz: Now there is a Michigan commitment out here who’s – there’s been some buzz recently on Twitter – with David Dawson out at Cass Tech. Possibly going down to Florida. We’re going to double check on that, but what’s your dialogue been like with Mr. Dawson? Shane Morris: I don’t really want to talk about it, but he’s doing it for attention. He’s annoying. He likes the attention. But, I don’t think he’s going anywhere. Kyle Bogenshutz: We were on the same plan as Laquon Treadwell, another wide receiver in the class of 2013, and also vying for one of those last spots. We talked to him. It looks like a decision might be coming a little earlier than normal. What did you say to him when you found that out? Shane Morris: I’m just telling him, you know, we have two, three, spots left, and whoever the first two, three people who take it, that’s who’s going to get it. And you know, Laquon’s a great player, you know, Alvin’s a great player, and I’ll be happy with both of them, but, you know, whoever wants to be a part of Michigan, that’s who we want.
