Big-time DT commits to WFU

One of the most important aspects of recruiting is getting the prospects on campus. When Loxahatchee (Fla.) Seminole Ridge defensive end Kyle Shortridge came to Wake Forest on Monday, he wasn't ready to commit. By the end of the visit, he had made a pledge to play football for the Demon Deacons.

"I loved what I had seen [at Wake Forest]," Shortridge said. "It felt like home right away. It's a great program and i just wanted to come in and be a part of it. I think the coaching staff is going to be there for awhile. We're going to do big things when I get there." The 6-foot-3, 280-pound defensive lineman also liked the number of players on the Wake Forest roster from the Sunshine State...
