Semper Fi: Thomas Oser
As we head down the stretch to National Signing Day, Studio (City) Harvard Westlake offensive lineman Thomas Oser has narrowed down his list of schools, and is now focused on just three. Oregon, Vanderbilt and Stanford are the three still in the mix for his commitment. "I think the biggest thing is I want to go to a place where I feel comfortable," Oser said. The talented lineman has already visited Oregon and will take official visits to Stanford on January 10th and Vanderbilt on the January 25th. So what stands out about each of his top schools? Oregon: "That offense is unbelievable. My head coach is good friends with Chip Kelly and he brought it down to our school and implemented the offense. And so I am comfortable with it already and I think I could fit right in and show off my athleticism in that offense." Stanford: "I really felt comfortable at Stanford. It is a cool school with a great campus and the team is obviously doing really well." Vanderbilt: "It's an SEC school and that is a dream. My quarterback (Chad Kanoff) is committed there so it would be cool to play with him again, and Nashville is a cool city. I really liked it when I visited for camp." Oser plans to weigh his options after his visit to Vanderbilt and have a decision before Signing Day.
