The Breakdown: Jocquell Johnson

Jocquell Johnson has been on the Mississippi State recruiting radar since his sophomore year in high school. The former Callaway Charger has spent a lot of time on the Mississippi State campus over the course of the last few years. Beginning in January, Johnson will call Starkville home as he begins his Bulldog career.

Johnson prepped at Callaway High School under the direction of former Mississippi State offensive lineman Otis Riddley. Riddley has had a hand in developing Johnson, current Ole Miss offensive guards Justin Bell and Aaron Morris and offensive guard Roderick Taylor, the consensus top 2014 prospect in the state of Mississippi.
