11. WR Kd Cannon - (Class of 2014)
School: Mt. Pleasant HS
HT: 6'0 | WT: 165
Recruiting: Committed to Baylor
Scout Breakdown: He has big, strong hands and great hand-eye coordination, which helps him go up and take balls out of the air over defenders. A wiry-framed kid who will also make tacklers look foolish in the open field. He will only become better as he progresses and matures. He is a high level BCS prospect.
12. CB Edward Paris - (Class of 2014)
School: Mansfield Timberview HS
HT: 6'1 | WT: 190
Recruiting: Committed to LSU
Scout Breakdown: Physically, he would fit in on an elite level college team right now. He has good hips and the speed to hang with receivers as a corner, but could also be a ball hawking style safety. He arrives at the ball carrier with bad intentions and makes sound tackles when he does. He has a knack for the finding the ball.
13. S Justin Dunning - (Class of 2015)
School: Whitehouse HS
HT: 6'3 | WT: 190
Recruiting: Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma, Baylor
Scout Breakdown: A ball-hawking style safety, who has elite size at the position. He has a real knack for being around the football and sticking a hand in to break up the play or make an interception. He is a long strider, who has elite speed once he hit his top gear.
14. MLB Zach Whitley - (Class of 2014)
School: North Shore Sr HS
HT: 6'2 | WT: 220
Recruiting: Committed to Alabama
Scout Breakdown: Whitely is exactly what a college coach wants in a middle linebacker. He is a bit of a throw-back in the sense that he plays hard and is a player who is present for nearly every snap throughout the entire game. He is tough and relentless, but best of all, he is intelligent.
15. DE Myles Garrett - (Class of 2014)
School: Martin HS
HT: 6'4 | WT: 245
Recruiting: Texas A&M, Ohio State, Alabama, Florida State, TCU
Scout Breakdown: He has great size and speed and is just overall one of the most physically impressive specimens in the country. Boasts a scathing 4.5 40-yard dash and a 4.09 pro-shuttle. He is cat quick off the edge and a dynamite pass rusher. At times he also shows great strength and can be powerfully overwhelming at the point of attack.
16. CB Kris Boyd - (Class of 2015)
School: Gilmer HS
HT: 6'1 | WT: 185
Recruiting: Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Texas, TCU
Scout Breakdown: An elite level athlete with tremendous burst and top-end speed. He plays both ways in high school at RB/WR and CB, but figures to be a defensive player by most once he gets to college and has a desire to play defense in college. He has turn and run ability and his size at the position gives him an advantage.
17. S Nick Harvey - (Class of 2014)
School: William B Travis HS
HT: 5'10 | WT: 170
Recruiting: Committed to Texas A&M
Scout Breakdown: Makes quick cuts and has the speed to take it to the house. He has playmaking skills on the offensive side of the ball, but is being recruited to play defensive back. He has the skills to play corner or safety. He is a fearless hitter and flies to the ball carriers. Cat-like acceleration, allowing him to close quickly.
18. RB Chris Warren - (Class of 2015)
School: Rockwall HS
HT: 6'2 | WT: 220
Recruiting: UCLA, Tulsa, Texas Tech, Texas, SMU, Oklahoma State, Ohio State, Mississippi State, Clemson, Baylor, Alabama
Scout Breakdown: Has an NFL pedigree as his father was a three time pro bowl back. Downhill runner who has exceptional feet for a player with his size. He makes nifty moves and has a nice burst which allows him to get in to the hole and advance the ball up the field quickly.
19. S Larry Pryor - (Class of 2015)
School: Sulphur Springs HS
HT: 6'1 | WT: 190
Recruiting: Texas Tech, Texas, TCU, Oklahoma State, Arkansas
Scout Breakdown: Locks on his radar and flows straight to the ball with little to no wasted efforts. He is involved in a lot of plays and often snakes through the line and to make the play for little or no gain. He plays effortless, because he is always in control of his body.
20. QB Jerrod Heard - (Class of 2014)
School: Guyer HS
HT: 6'2.5 | WT: 190
Recruiting: Committed to Texas
Scout Breakdown: A quarterback who leads with a calm, cool effectiveness. He is highly efficient as a thrower completing at an above average %. He is strong in all phases, but excels on the deep ball, where he shows great touch and the ability to find the open receiver. He has a good arm, but may be even more lethal as a runner.
