Sadler, Wilson lead Argyle to 3A-II title

Highlights and analysis of the Texas Tech commits- plus Fairfield (TX) High stars Larry Rose and Bryson Gates- below.

Texas Tech receiver commitment Ian Sadler accounted for 182 yards of offense and three touchdowns Friday in Argyle's thrilling 38-33 run over Fairfield and to its first state football title.

Sadler was bumped from a three-star to a four-star mid-game. It was the first time Scout.com's National Scouting Director Scott Kennedy was able to see Sadler live in action, bumping him from a three-star to a four-star mid-game after consulting Midlands Manager Greg Powers. Kennedy breaks down what Sadler and Texas Tech safety commit Connor Wilson will each be bringing to the Red Raiders' table.

Kennedy also walked away impressed with Fairfield running back Larry Rose and Colorado State athlete commitment Bryson Gates, both 2014 prospects. Rose still awaits an offer, but that should change quickly following Friday's outing.
