Abernathy Enjoys Georgia Tech Visit
"It was a good visit," Abernathy confirmed. "I was able to meet the entire defensive coaching staff. It was great because they made me a priority there."
The Georgia Tech staff has not been bashful about their intentions. They have spoken to Abernathy often and have sent a clear message to the in-state prospect.
"They like me a lot," said Abernathy. "They want me at Georgia Tech badly."
The talented corner from nearby Atlanta has high interest in the Jackets as well and will continue to consider Georgia Tech.
"It's a great school academically," Abernathy stated. "They're in a big conference. I'm honored to have the offer from their school."
"I really liked their indoor football facility," he added. "I also enjoyed talking to Coach Roof. He was recruiting me pretty hard and we get along real well."
Abernathy has not begun to narrow down his choices and has no more planned visits as of now. He admits that he's taking his time with the process and does not have a timetable for a college decision.
