Rosen talks Michigan visit
Josh Rosen is playing with several members of his Bosco team on Team Alliance at the Pylon 7v7 tournament in Las Vegas. He looked very good throwing the rock but all questions on Rosen centered on his recent visit to Michigan. "It all came together pretty quickly, in the last five days or so," Rosen said. "I have a good relationship with Coach Nuss (Nussmeier) and we've been talking a lot. Just recently he asked if it was time for them to move on or if it was still worth it to continue to recruit me. "I was honest and told him that I didn't see myself picking Michigan. He told me I should still come up, no strings attached but said to just come up and check out the school for the experience and I have to, it was a lot better than I thought. I was actually hoping to get up there and not like it to reaffirm my decision but I really loved it there, Michigan is an incredible place." Rosen said several things stood out about the trip. "Everyone just seemed so happy there," Rosen said. "It was fun walking around the campus and their School of Business is incredible. They have one of the best undergrad programs in the country and everyone just looks like they're having a good time and happy to be there. "There was a lot of snow on the ground, they said they set a 100 year record for the most snow they have had but that didn't bother me at all. The Big House in insane, I really like Coach Nuss and Coach Hoke is a great guy as well and as down to earth as it gets. It was definitely a pleasant surprise and with the tradition they have, the National Championships and Heisman Trophy winners, I'm surprised more players don't go to Michigan." Rosen has his announcement date set for March 20 and said the Wolverines have given him a lot to think about. "I still have a good idea of what I'm doing but this trip does make me want to go home and re-asses my decision to make sure I'm doing the right thing," Rosen said. "UCLA has been my top school but I could definitely see myself at Michigan pretty easily. "If UCLA wasn't around, Michigan would be a great option for me but like I said, I'm going to sit down when I get home from Vegas and weigh all my options. I'm glad I took the visit and it was a very positive experience. I'm looking forward to making my decision this week so I can start doing some recruiting. I've already been doing that but now it will be more official since I'll have committed to a school."
