Alexander Seeing Interest Rise

Macedonia (OH) Nordonia defensive end Justice Alexander might be the most improved player in Ohio, and the 2015 lineman has added 30 pounds since last season. College recruiters have taken notice and the offers are coming.

Following a transfer, Macedonia (OH) Nordonia defensive end Justice Alexander played last year at 210-pounds and lacked much technique at the position.

Today, Alexander is 6-foot-5, 240-pounds, and still has the raw speed and quickness that makes him a threat coming off the edge. As college recruiters are seeing him in person, Alexander is adding offers.

"I now have three offers, from Massachusetts, Miami of Ohio and Ohio University," Alexander stated. "I am going to visit all three of these schools in the month or so. I want to learn more about each of these schools."

Several other schools have been by the school during the evaluation period, and have started to recruit Alexander.

"Kentucky was at my school and they seemed to be interested," he explained. "Cincinnati, Illinois and Notre Dame are all talking to my coach about me. Cincinnati sees me as an offensive lineman, but most schools see me as a defensive end."

"I don't care what position I play, because I just love football," he said. "These new schools all want to see me in camp, and I plan on going to as many as I can get to. I'm going to Cincinnati on June 6."

"I started the year last year at between 205 and 210-pounds, and now I'm up to 240-pounds," Alexander added. "I'm going to be a much better football player this coming season."
