Walker was excited to report that the Aggies had extended an offer on Monday, and even more so when that offer was followed by NIU's on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, Walker picked up number three from North Texas.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound lineman, who plays end for Shoemaker, is also hearing from a number of other programs.
With two offers in his hand, Walker is also looking forward to camping at a few schools this summer and gaining even more exposure.
"I'm hearing from Texas State, Oregon State, Oklahoma, Baylor, Texas, and UTSA. I think Texas State could offer soon."
"I know for sure I'll be at Baylor, Texas State, and North Texas. I'm trying to figure out the rest," he said.
Aside from recruiting, Walker has his sights set on the upcoming season and has been busy in the off-season working on his game.
"I'm getting better every day, coming out here and just trying to improve on my game. I've been working on getting to the ball faster and completing my tackles; I want to get more tackles in every game," he said.
He's also embracing his new role as a leader on this team.
"It can be hard for some of these younger players, but I'm trying to help them, let them know what I've been through the past two years. I'm just trying to lead them so we can even be better. I can't wait to go back to the playoffs. We made it to the first round last year, so we want to get even further," he said.
