Andrew Fitzgerald Summer Plans

Four-star defensive Andrew Fitzgerald is one of the top defensive ends in the country for 2016. The 6-foot-5, 240-pound standout is still looking for his first offer and should come in the next few weeks.

Andrew Fitzgerald is the No 10 ranked defensive end prospect in the class of 2016. The Flower Mound (TX) Marcus standout is one to watch moving forward.

"My recruiting process has been going great," Fitzgerald said. "I am still trying to get my name out there and to work hard to get where is best for me. My family is encouraging me all the way through the process."

Fitzgerald could be close to landing offers from Texas, Baylor, Texas Tech and some others but for now he is working on his game.

"I have gone to Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Texas A&M," Fitzgerald said. "I plan on going to TCU and Baylor. Overall I have liked all the schools. Oklahoma was just a local camp, so I didn't get to visit. I liked Texas a lot and everything their program and education offers. A&M was a good experience, and I liked their campus. Texas tech was also great, and I enjoyed meeting all the coaches."

Fitzgerald has a motor that never stops, high character and work ethic you want to see. He can easily carry another 20-pounds moving forward giving him the ability to play inside or out.

"I think my best attributes are my long arms and physical nature," Fitzgerald said. "I need to work on my second move of getting off the offensive lineman and getting to the ball. Recommended Stories
