Troy Henderson, a three-star linebacker out of St. Edward High in Ohio, was set to announce his decision on July 4th before a last minute offer from Nebraska changed his plans. Then, he wanted to visit both the Cornhuskers and Syracuse before committing.
Once again, there was a change of plans as Henderson decided to announce his school of choice Tuesday evening. With a simple tweet, his decision was made and Syracuse was where he verbally pledged.
I went from riding the bus for years and now I can choose the bus I ride on. I have decided to take my path to The University of Syrcause!????— T-Hen (@_Troy3) July 15, 2014
Henderson is the 23rd commitment in Syracuse's 2015 class. He is the third linebacker and second player from Ohio. The three-star talent chose Syracuse over offers from Cincinnati, Nebraska, Rutgers, Toledo, Western Michigan and several others.
Syracuse extended their lead with the most commitments in the country this cycle. They have 23 whereas the second place school (South Carolina) has 21.
