Aca'cedric Ware, a 6-foot-0, 196-pound running back from Cedar Hill (Texas) High made his big decision on Monday night.
Ware selected the USC Trojans during a live news broadcast on local television, FOX 4.
Ware had four hats on the table from left to right: Iowa, Notre Dame, USC and Ohio State.
During the broadcast Ware initially eliminated it down to three schools -- cutting out Notre Dame.
With three hats still on the table Ware reached out both hands to swipe the Iowa and Ohio State hats off the table -- announcing his pick to be a Trojan in college.
"I will be taking my many talents to USC," Ware said with a huge smile as he slid on the USC hat and the Trojan fight song blared out. "There is so much opportunity out there that I will be set."
Ware is excited about the future of the USC program under the tutelage of new head coach Steve Sarkisian.
"I watch Coach Sark -- I watched some of his coaching when he was in Washington, so I know that they are going to be good. They are in good hands."
As a junior in 2013, Ware rushed for 1,270 yards and 11 touchdowns to help Cedar Hill to a State Championship.
He is rated as a Scout three-star prospect, the No. 49 running back nationally.
