Sean Foster had been to Purdue before, but Saturday's visit, one in which he had a chance to watch a Fall practice, was a big one for the 6-foot-8 junior offensive tackle, as he added an offer from the Boilers.
"Coach Hazell took me and my dad into the meeting room and we had a meeting and he broke the news to me and my father."
That offer is of particular interest to Foster based on what he saw of the program.
"It was awesome. Purdue is a beautiful school. Everything about it was very good. The campus was awesome, the football facilities were awesome and the coaching staff was unbelievable. They are top-notch, and by top-notch, I mean they're extremely nice people ,they know what they're doing, and it was just an overall fun day."
And once he had a chance to see the team in action, the vibe surrounding the session was of note to Foster.
"How upbeat the practice was. It was very fun to watch because everyone was running around and having fun and that's what Coach Hazell's philosophy is."
Foster is not sure which college games he will be at this Summer, as his primary focus right now is on his own season.
"We're going to just concentrate on our season this year. We're looking to do big things this year."
