West '15: Preseason Top Ten Quarterbacks

The nation's top passer leads the preseason West quarterback rankings for the 2015 class...

1. Josh Rosen, 6-4, 205, Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco
Committed to UCLA

The Skinny: Rosen solidified his standing as the top quarterback in the West, and the country, after a good summer at the Elite 11, The Opening and in Bosco's 7v7 circuit.

2. Blake Barnett, 6-4, 208, Corona (Calif.) Santiago
Committed to Alabama

The Skinny: Barnett was the MVP of the Elite 11 after leading his squad to the Nike 7on title at The Opening and continued his meteoric rise up the rankings. One of the top dual-threat quarterbacks from the West in years.

3. Ricky Town, 6-4, 210, Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure
Committed to USC

The Skinny: As Town got healthier over the summer, the better he threw, particularly at the Elite 11 and The Opening, where he took his team to the finals.

4. Travis Waller, 6-4.5, 185, Anaheim (Calif.) Servite
Committed to Oregon

The Skinny: Like Barnett, Waller used the summer to jump into the Scout 100 and he was good at the Elite 11 and The Opening and continues to blossom as a passer.

5. Brady White, 6-2, 180, Newhall (Calif.) Hart
Committed to Arizona State

The Skinny: White had a good showing in Beaverton but really flourished on the team 7v7 in the summer and is poised for a big senior year with the Indians.
