Final 5 for Moore
Several options were on the table for North Shore offensive lineman Tyler Moore. But recently he took to twitter to announce that he has narrowed his choices to five: Texas, Colorado, Texas Tech, Oregon State, Minnesota.
“First of all I want to thank God for everything he has blessed me with and also thank the colleges that have offered.”
This was the twitter message from Moore, who is a three-star center and ranked No. 9 at his position. Moore said that he plans to visit all of these schools officially, but will take his first unofficial this weekend as he will watch the Texas/North Texas game.
Standouts for Jackson
One of the top linebackers in the class of 2016, Elsik’s Dontavious Jackson is high on the list for a number of programs. He only holds three offers at the moment, but several Top 25 programs are keeping a close eye on him for this upcoming season.
And there are a few that he has his eyes on as well.
“I don’t really have a top program or programs, but I’d say that some schools are standing out to me. Texas, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M are in there,” Jackson said. “Also, Ohio State and USC are there too.”
Red Raiders for Corbin
He’s already known as one of the best in his class (2016), now Westbrook wide receiver Keith Corbin has offer No. 2, which is a Texas Tech offer.
SEC on Top for Whaley?
It’s a dozen offers for Central running back Devwah Whaley, but that number could increase by the week as he is likely to have a huge junior season. And while it is still early in the process, Whaley was open to the fact that there are several schools that have his attention.
But one stands out from the rest.
“I would say Texas A&M. I’m not saying they are my leader, but that program does stand out to me. I like them a lot,” Whaley said. “It became a winning program within two years and I like the environment there. I like the coaches and the facilities. I get an awesome feeling there.”
Whaley wants to visits several programs for games this season, but state that the Texas A&M/LSU game was the one “for sure” that he looks to attend.

Sykes Schedules Officials
He still has three more to go, but Spring cornerback Willie Sykes has his eyes set on a couple of official visits for September and November. With the seven offers in hand, he has already booked officials with Purdue (November 7 – game vs. Wisconsin) and Minnesota (September 20 – game vs. San Jose State)/ He looks to get a visit to Oregon State scheduled shortly as well. This upcoming weekend, Sykes will be visiting (unofficially) TCU for the opener against Samford.
