Bradshaw Mountain's Dallas Sandberg's first offer comes from WAC…
Ten Sleepers in the Grand Canyon State
Dallas Sandberg - Bradshaw Mountain OT- Not a lot of exposure goes to the players in Northern Arizona but recruiters need to make their way to Prescott to check out this 6-5 300 pounder. Former NAU coach Steve Axman, currently at Idaho, is already familiar with the area and has extended an offer. Jordan Christenson - Cienega OG/DT- It's hard for a 6-3 280 pound kid to be a sleeper but Christenson is. He was an all-region DT last year but projects as a guard. A wrist injury has prevented him from going to camps and combines, thus leaving him virtually unknown.Sean Fugate - Boulder Creek DE- Fugate was not a full-time starter last year but is one of the best looking kids physically that I saw this Spring. An injury has als kept him sidelined for much of the off-season but hasn't kept him out of the weightroom. Coach Friedman says he is benching nearly 400 pounds and stands 6-2 240 plus.Michael Lange - Corona del Sol RB- Was very productive last year for the Aztecs and is one of the hardest runners in the state. Might not have all of the tools of a prototypical D1 back but some lucky D2 school will get a steal in Lange.Myles Williams - Marana Mt. View RB- One of Southern Arizona true hidden gems. Big kid at 6-2 190 plus that could play a couple of positions at the next level.Tyree Parker - Paradise Valley RB- Not sure why no one has really mentioned this kid's name this off-season because he has been outstanding for Coach Yantis over the past two years. At 5-10 and almost 220 pounds, Parker is poised for a big senior year.Darrin Spencer - Ironwood RB- Very similar to Williams in all aspects. Productivity, size, speed, mirror each other.Traveon Freeman - Kellis WR- Coach Golden used him as a wideout and as a QB in a Wildcat formation. Already holds an Air Force offer and could get more with a solid senior year.David Duron - Sabino LB- One of my favorite LBs on tape this off-season. A little on the small side, standing under six foot but is thick and runs pretty well. Brendan Murphy - Chaparral CB- Was a 1st team all-region DB last year for Red Mountain, playing in a very tough East Valley Region. Also ran some great times in the 100 and 200. Might be the best kept secret in AZ.
