Kline Comments On Pitt Decision

Kline finished with 118 tackles as a junior.

The Pitt Panthers could be on another June surge of verbal commitments, as they have shown in the past under Dave Wannstedt. After Erial (NJ) Timber Creek Regional linebacker Quinton Alston committed on Saturday, he was joined two days later by another linebacker in Dallastown's (PA) Ben Kline.

Ben Kline, a 6-2, 220-pound linebacker, chose the Panthers over offers from Michigan, Rutgers, UConn and West Virginia. He added that committing in early June wasn't part of the plan in the beginning, but quickly changed the more evident it was that Pitt was the school for him.
