Recruiting: OSU Picks Up Commit No. 11

Demarcus Sherod grew up believing that he would one day play major college football. The Decatur, Ga., linebacker thought it would be closer than halfway across the United States but on Friday afternoon he decided that Oklahoma State was the place for him and became the 11th commitment in the Cowboys' Class of 2011. Sherod shared his thoughts with after making his commitment.

The 6-2, 225-pound linebacker from Columbus High School in Decatur made an unofficial visit to Oklahoma State in early June, and that trip left quite an impression on the Georgia standout.
